Preparation :
- Prepare the chicken – Pat dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Sear for extra flavor (optional but recommended): Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan and brown the chicken for 2 minutes per side.
- Layer in the Crock Pot – Place chicken in the slow cooker.
- Make the sauce – In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon zest, and honey. Pour over the chicken.
- Slow cook – Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours, until chicken is tender.
- Finish & serve – Spoon the sauce over the chicken, garnish with parsley, and serve with lemon slices.
