Ingredients:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • Β½ cup melted butter
  • ΒΌ cup sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (Cool Whip)
  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until well combined.
    • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish.
    • Chill in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes while preparing the filling.
  2. Make the Creamy Layer:
    • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
    • Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
    • Fold in the whipped topping gently until fully incorporated.
  3. Assemble the Dessert:
    • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
    • Spoon the cherry pie filling over the top, spreading it evenly.
  4. Chill & Serve:
    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (preferably overnight) to allow the flavors to meld.
    • Slice and serve chilled.
